All

Wanna talk about fun science experiments for adults with or without special needs? It doesn’t get much better than using a mixture of vinegar and baking soda to inflate a latex-free glove. This is a fan favorite at Stephen’s Place and here’s how you do it:

Ingredients:

  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Disposable Latex-free gloves
  • Empty water bottles
  • A funnel

Directions

  1. Use your funnel to pour Baking Soda into your glove, filling about a finger of the glove
  2. Use the funnel to pour vinegar into the water bottle, filling about 1/2 of the bottle.
  3. Cover the top of the bottle with the bottom of the glove attaching with a rubber band
  4. When ready, lift the glove and let the Baking Soda fall into the vinegar.
  5. Watch as the mixture fizzes, bubbles, and inflates your glove!
