Special Needs Workouts - Box Squats

All

Specialty Athletic Training demonstrates some exercises for special needs workouts.

Ryan Lockard is back with this week with another exercise for special needs workouts.  If you are doing this with your child (or partner) they may have a difficult time maintaining proper posture or sitting down under control.  To help with this, simply stand in front of them and allow them to use your hands as needed.

1) Start with feet slightly wider than shoulder width
2) While keeping your chest up and back straight, sit back onto the box under control.
3) Maintaining good posture, stand back up. Keep heels on ground throughout the movement.
