Top 3 Work Agencies Designed for People with Disabilities

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 1990 states that private employers, State and local governments, employment agencies and labor unions are prohibited from discriminating against qualified individuals with disabilities in job application procedures, hiring, firing, advancement, compensation, job training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment. It also applies to employment agencies and to labor organizations.

That ADA is a step in the right direction, but it’s time to put all of that and more into play. Inclusivity is about every stage of the job search, interview and on-the-job activities.

Recently, there have been more forward-thinking staffing agencies popping up. We did some research to find 3 of the best agencies for inclusive job searches.

Inclusively

With Inclusively, potential employees are connected with employers who have established and/or are creating diverse, inclusive work environments for candidates with disabilities, mental health conditions, and chronic illnesses.

The website is modern, accessible and makes it easy to search for jobs that match experience, skills, and workplace accommodations. This program is designed specifically for people with disabilities, such as mobility, visual, hearing, neurodivergent, cognitive, mental health, speech, chronic illness, and intellectual disabilities.

As well as their comprehensive job platform, they also help employers to continuously improve their offerings. Their team of experts helps employers meet their disability inclusion goals by providing digital training, accessibility resources, and assistive technologies.
