Stephen's Place Exercises - Wall Presses
Stephen's Place exercises brought to you in partnership with Specialty Athletic Training.
Ryan Lockard will be pairing with us to do weekly Stephen's Place exercises! He will be giving us tips about fitness routines for individuals with developmental disabilities. This move is great for those who are not able to do push-ups and need to work on their upper body strength. It requires no equipment and can be done at home.
- Start by standing in front of a wall with your arms extended in front of you.
- Place hands on the wall (fingers pointing up) about shoulder width and about armpit height.
- Bending your elbows, lower yourself to the wall until your nose touches and then press your body back up by pressing and extending your elbows.
- And repeat.
